Adult Eagle Palms

After earning the Golden Eagle, you may earn Palms by completing the following requirements:
1.Demonstrate scout spirit by living the Scout Oath (Promise), Law, Motto, and Slogan in your everyday life.
2.Be active in your troop and patrol for at least 6 months since earning the Golden Eagle or your last palm.
NOTE: 'Active' means you have participated in at least 2 meetings or activities each month, including at least two overnight camping activities during the 6 months.
NOTE: In these requirements, camping is defined as sleeping in a tent or under the stars. Campers, trailers, cabins, etc. do not count as camping nights for your adult advancement requirements.
3.Since earning the Golden Eagle or last palm, have actively served for at least 6 months in one of the following positions of responsibility: Chartered Organization Representative, Committee Chairman, Committee Member, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, Chaplain, Crew Advisor, Crew Associate Advisor, Varsity Scout Coach, Assistant Varsity Scout Coach, Unit Commissioner, District Commissioner, District Chairman, District Committee Member, Roundtable Staff, Huddle Staff, OA Chapter Advisor, OA Assistant Chapter Advisor, or Equivalent Council / Regional / Area / or National Position.
4.Wear your complete BSA Scout Uniform to all scouting meetings and activities (unless the planned activity dictates otherwise).
5.Earn a total of 6 additional adult merit badges beyond those required for Golden Eagle or last Palm
NOTE: Adult Merit Badges earned any time since earning the Adult Scout Rank may be used to meet this requirement.
6.Complete an additional training course or renew a previous training certificate when it expires.
NOTE: There are many additional training opportunities offered that can be userful for scouters (ie. Shooting Sports Instructor, Climbing Instructor, University of Scouting, etc.).
NOTE: Most BSA training certificates expire after 1 or 2 years.
7.Since earning the Golden Eagle or last palm, take part in service projects in which you served at least 10 total hours (not including hours spent fulfilling your duties in your position of responsibility or in training).
8.Identify someone who is eligible to join Boy Scouts, or an inactive Boy Scout. Encourage him to join or become active, and help them to Earn the Scout Rank (or their next rank if they have already earned the Scout Rank).
Encourage another Adult Scouter to become a member of and help them earn the Adult Scout Rank.
9.Participate in an Online Scoutaholic conference.
10.Pass an Online Scoutaholic Rank Review.
